The centre consists of our staff, academic advisors, and Visiting Research Fellowships, which are open to scholars, government officials, and professionals. We have Research Fellows working on specific projects.

We support a number of doctoral scholars at Oxford, including Leanne Iorio, Giles Moon, Inger ‘Izzie’ Storm Sandboe, and Tsur West. Chris Park will also join us in 2026. Although all doctoral programmes and applications are determined by the University of Oxford, we encourage scholars, especially early career researchers, in particular fields, including: nuclear arms and deterrence; space, cyber, & electromagnetic warfare; uncrewed autonomous systems (‘drones’) and precision armaments; artificial intelligence applications in armed conflict; intelligence, surveillance, & reconnaissance; multi-domain operations & doctrine development; and defence capability strategy, development, & management.
